WFMZ, Channel 69 News: Music Monday
They're known for breaking down classic songs and adding in their harmonies and guitar work, and they've been wowing audience at gigs all over the region.
We're so excited to welcome Matt Smith and Brian Davies, or Twelve String, on this Music Monday on 69 News at Sunrise.
Smith and Davies explained how Twelve String was born during the pandemic, and described the band's vibe and style.
Smith said they had been stuck at home in 2020 with nothing to do. They would send parts of songs to each other through email and texts. They then started to go out and perform the completed songs together.
The band released its first album last year.
Smith and Davies talked about the best part of this music gig and performing together regularly.
Davies said they enjoy filling their time with something artistic, something to add to the world. It's their way of "scratching that artistic itch," he said.
